Where in the World discovery space program

The program

Where in the World, the family discovery space program during the school holidays in April 2009, marked the opening of the Museum's new Australian Journeys gallery. The program interpreted the themes and stories of the gallery by inviting visitors to share and compare with their own migration stories. 840 visitors of all ages joined in the discovery space activities.

The centrepiece

As a centrepiece, a large printed fabric world map, sponsored by Hema maps and JT Leutenegger, was available for children and adults to stitch their journeys.
